A simple, fresh fruit salad to keep you feeling like its summertime all year round.

There's really noting to it! I just wanted to share with you a simple melon based salad that I love to serve up as a side or fresh dessert on the holidays. Take it to a bbq in the summer and have it alone, pair it with a sponge cake or atop a scoop of coconut milk ice cream to take it up a notch. Its versatile, virtually seconds to make and a beautiful looking dish to put on the table.

Sour cherries, refreshing melons and sweet agave come together with freshly chopped basil to create a fruit medley with a little extra flavor that you can literally take to any occasion!
SWEET MELON AND BASIL SALAD
(Serves 6-8)
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cantelope, musk melon or honeydew melon
cherries
basil
agave
Dash of himalayan salt
METHOD
Cube the melon into bite size pieces, pit the cherries and cut them in half.
Add the melon to a serving dish and coat with agave. Gently toss the cherries and basil into the bowl.
Sprinkle with a dash of Himalayan salt and serve.
